(Jacksonville, Fla.; July 18, 2003) – Claudia Kattan de Jordan has been promoted to general manager for Crowley liner services in Honduras. Her new responsibilities include the coordination of sales, marketing, and operations activities for Honduras; overseeing development of policies and procedures; reviewing operating results; establishing annual revenue and capital budgets; coordinating and negotiating contractor and service provider agreements and developing business relationships. She will remain domiciled in San Pedro Sula and will report to Rinus Schepen, Crowley’s senior vice president and general manager of Latin America services.

Kattan began her career with Crowley in 1989 and has held various positions including customer service representative, sales coordinator, sales executive and most recently sales manager. She has achieved various awards and recognition for her commitment to quality performance, developing new markets, securing new target accounts and for continuously looking for ways to better improve the performance of the overall organization.

“Claudia has been such an integral part of our Honduras team,” Schepen said. “She has contributed greatly to the growth of Crowley’s market share in the area and to our expansion of services and accounts.”

Kattan is a graduate of the University Technology of Honduras having earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing and international commerce. She has also completed some postgraduate studies in business administration.

In a subsequent personnel move, Angelita Falck has been promoted to sales manager, Honduras, filling the position previously held by Kattan. Falck has been with Crowley for five years and has served as a sales executive responsible for one of Crowley’s most important account bases, including wearing apparel and other commercial accounts.

In her new position, Falck will report to Kattan and will remain domiciled in San Pedro Sula.

Falck has a marketing technician degree and is finishing her bachelor’s degree in marketing at the Technologic University of Honduras. Prior to joining Crowley, she worked for five years in a cargo and courier company called Lacsa Courier. She also served as sales executive and assistant manager for Lacsa Airlines.
